I am looking for hanging hardware for a 18" x 96" wooden sign. It will hang from the walkway overhang in a new building. I can't find any brackets with holes to screw up into ceiling and bolt through sign. Any good sources for hardware out there? Everyone wants to sell vinyl and 18x24 frames but no support hardware!

Denco Sales here in Denver has these hanging brackets for 1/2" and 3/4" MDO and the such. They're flat metal bent to an upside down 'U' shape that fits over the top edge of the signboard, a through bolt holds them to the sign and theres a hole at top to accept hanging hardware.
Hope this helps.

Get yourself a catalog from Outwater Plastics. They have about any kind of hardware imagineable, bracketry, railings, moldings...a real treasure trove of stuff. They are at www.outwater.com Posted by Rovelle W. Gratz (Member # 4404) on :
Just got an Outwater Plastics Catalog in the mail yesterday. They have everything.

Jerry,
Will your hardware support the sign during exceptional wind gusts? Great hardware, but I would feel more secure with a closed connection.
