Saved these for Halloween.
As you know, I love cemeteries.
These are from the one in Mars, PA, where George Romero filmed Night of the Living Dead in the late 1960s. Black & white for effect, shot these on a clear summer day about suppertime.
 -
 -
Who knows? Maybe they are just dust or sun flecks.
Love....Jill

Moving on to the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg...on a September afternoon.
 -
And the National Cemetery, where President Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address, not so much orbs as weird light flashes, pix taken at dusk.
 -
 -
A statue on the battlefield, taken at sunset....why the glow?
 -
Lastly, a midnight ghost tour at Jennie Wade's house, the only civilian killed during the battle and the 6th most haunted house in America:
 -
 -
These are probably all meaningless, but good OT Halloween fun. Love....Jill

They have these things, they're called "lens cleaning kits" [Smile]

If you like pictures of ghosts I have one that will floor you. I gotta find it first though and when I do I'll post it.

Jill . . on the very first picture there!!!! . . . You have a giant red arrow pointing at the wrong 'orb' . . . when there is a HUGE'MONGUS one rising right out of the earth . . . [Eek!] !!!!

A coupl'a these look like snapping directly into sunlight . . .

A coupl'a of 'em look like rain spots on the lens . . . .

OR, if you HAVE cleaned it, then
I bet some "clear" got spattered on there at a meet or somethin' . . . [Wink]
The orbs mysteriously 'seem' to be located in different spots on each pic because of the 'focus of the lens changing from pic to pic. . .from flash to no flash, AND also, the developer may be reversing the image from the film/negatives. . . .
Try carefully cleaning the lens with thinner or stronger solvent. . .
OOPS!!!!!

I'm getting serious!!! What's wrong with me!! STOP it.

I say, so WHAT?? EVEN IF they are spots on the lens . . . they are fun spots and PROBABLY were PUT THERE by some entity, anyway!!

The alleged "statue" glowing?? THAT is NOT a statue . . THAT IS a ghost. (lol)

Ok . . and that pic with the blonde chic??
That is the girl's very healthy, shiney hair that is 'glowing'. Send that pic to the maker of her shampoo and she can get BIG bux for a commercial!!!!

Happy Halloween . . . .your dentist's FAVOR'ITE holiday!!!

PS!! Duh!! I forgot to say...COOL cemetery's!!!
I hope someday you can visit ours . . .really amazing, interesting, morbidly beautiful stuff . . . [Razz]

Having been in the photography field for several years.....ran a motion picture lab in Utah and was a Precision Photographic Process Control Superintendent at the Pentagon Lab for four years and being in the Aerial Photography business, I have seen what rain spots, dust and lens flare can do.

I have also seen a lot of unexplainable weird photo happenings.

Yup, Geet, those orbs are pretty scary indeed after nursing 3 kids.......
Todd, I love cemeteries for several reasons:
[Wink] I grew up in front of one and my Pap was the caretaker, I spent many a happy hour there playing as a child,
[Wink] in fact, when I die, I will be buried in my own back yard....who says you can't go home again?
[Wink] They are a nice quiet place,
[Wink] I love wondering about the people who are there,
[Wink] and there is usually some way cool carving, like the skulls on stones you'll see in the UK.
Love.....Jill

Hi Jill, you would love my job,i do a lot of work for Historic Scotland,& many of the sites i visit have gravyards going back many hundreds of year's!!
I've only recently heard of the term orbs !...this information was told to me from a young lady who works for HS..& she then went on to show me lots of photo's similar to the one's you have posted here !
The guy that works with her ,is serously sick of all her ghostly tales,& has applied for other jobs...!!

Jill, is the camera a digital being used for those shots? My digital frequently has those round spots in some pictures. There were so many from an indoor shot in my living room I had to delete it. LOL!

The foggy haze is weird...

OK, here are two more orb pix from the Jennie Wade house. Taken with a digital camera. I do seem to notice A LOT more "orbs" than with a regular camera.
I did a midnight tour with a psychic, who was a bit over the top (to me) but a nice gal. These were snapped in a completely dark room.
It was the parlor where Jennie's sister laid with her newborn. There are bullet holes in the bed and mantle. Imagine the stress these folks went through. - -
The orbs are by the headboard in the second picture.
Here's a link to a Jennie Wade site run by the psychic. She had some crazy paranormal recordings of cannonade on the battlefield too. Pretty creepy stuff!
Love.....Jill

i am a real skeptic when it comes to this sorta thing, but i am very interested in it. i do know that there are many fakes on the go but i do also think many are genuine. anyway, like some have said, i get orbs all the time in my own pictures.
i dont mean from 1 camera, but from about 3 or 4 we use at work and at home. the weird thing is most are around me or my wee girl, jodie.
i get all sorts, not just orbs, some pics are wasted simply becuase of many of these objects caught on camera. i know there are many possibilities to why they are there, but specialists world wide have come stuck, when trying to explain lots of them.

look at this picture taken about a month a go while i was working night shift fitting town shields on a bridge over a busy road.
i am in the bucket fitting, its about 4am.
there are many various sized orbs. but 3 or 4 in particular are moving fast "upwards" ive blown one up as you will see. if rain or dust, it would be falling.. not shooting fast causing a tail... while the rest are just orbs.

ok ok whos gonna call the guys with the white coats to come get me? [Rolling On The Floor]

Jill, I wondered if you had seen the video clips of a 'rod' passing the World Trade Centre within seconds of the second plane hitting, the speed alone is astonishing but considering the circumstances I'm surprised nothing much was said about it at the time. Or was it talked about or investigated in the US but not here?

This is a short video clip of the second plane hitting the WTC, suggest you don't view it if you are likely to be upset.
