Got someone wanting a 4x8 MDO sign attached to the side of a metal building...
No Frame or anything, well just be screwing it to the building, I guess.
Any recomendations on how to go about this?
I was thinking Self Tappers spaced evenly on the top of the ribs on the side of the building..
Any New Revalations on this method ?
Thanks in advance..

Leonard, I just put up two this week. Both were sixteen ft. long by 4ft. high. Did it just as you said. Used self drilling screws on the ribs. I had to do it by myself, so I used a two by four put up on the building to act as a ledge while I put in the screws. Slid the sign up the ladder, onto the ledge, and started putting in the screws. Edited to add where the mdo seamed together, I screwed in 4" by 6" pieces of mdo on the back of one of the signs sticking out from the edge, so the other sign would fit right against it. That way if the middle seam didnt end up on a rib, it didnt matter.

Leonard, remember if you are installing one sign by yourself, to place the first screw in the center of the top of the sign. This will allow the sign to hang by itself so you level it before the rest of the screws. cs
