In the later part of the afternoon we let Dusty out to wander around the backyard.
He got curious and came in to see what I was up to (working on a pet shop sign)
Now if I could only teach him to weed!!

Nice horse. I cannot go near them anymore due to allergies. We think it is from years at my grandparents house that has plaster made with horse hair. I like them and miss being able to touch one. But even going to the fair near the horse barns is too much.
Remember to note walk around half awake or distracted. You may find a deep surprise the hard way

All my shop horses have paint on them!

David, You stole my line! Adrienne, I've heard of Painted Horses, is this one? Mine would probably look like an Appaloosa. My dog did once after he rubbed against some painted boards...

Things are going well with me and Dusty...
I try to do ground work with him every other day.
Yesterday after our session I took him back to his stall (which is open to the pasture) and went for a walk down through the woods in back.
In the two weeks I've had him he had made neat paths through the woods and as I strolled along he followed me the whole way gently nibbling on my right shoulder.
