Charter Cable Co. has a tag line that comes to mind. Get Charter and get hooked.

In my place and time, if ya got 'hooked' it meant that ya got ripped off. Well, maybe there IS truth in advertising after all. I don't have cable 'cause I think that it's a rip-off. I can find better way to spend 50bux a month.

I love that one Leonard!
Here's one from a sewage company:
Number 1 in the Number 2 Business!

From a used bookstore:
Used, Rare, & Non-Existent Books.

And this one on the sign for a small tire shop here in our town of 4,500:
Broyles Tire
(then in 1" letters below):
World Headquarters and Corporate Offices

Gotta Love it!

I saw this on one of those trucks that pumps out the porta-potties on construction sites:

"And you think YOUR job stinks?"

My all time favorite funny sign has to be the one Jon Butterworth shared one night in chat. It's a yellow roadside warning sign that reads:

"CAUTION: Edges of sign are very sharp!"

Then in tiny lettering hidden at the bottom:

"The Bridge is Out Too"

[Smile]
