I just had a customer that wants to have two neon signs made for their bar area. I showed her a pre-made LED "OPEN" sign and she liked the idea of LED's for her signs. I keep turning these people away because I don't have anyone that I can trust to make customer neon signs.

Laura,
When your customer finds out how much more that custom sign is going to cost than the off-the-shelf model, she will probably flip!
It is like those neon "open" signs they sell at Sam's Club. It is cheaper to buy a new one than replace the transformer.
Try looking in one of the Buyer's Guide sent out by the major sign mags and rags. There should be something in there that suits your needs.

Its got to be custom. "CAROL'S CORNER" with a flamingo and then her husband's name will be on the other with two palm trees. Don't think that I could find that in a magazine. She wants them small...like 11" x 17" and would probably go up to $500. each.

Hello Laura,
Try giving Fire House Neon in Stockbridge, Michigan a call. He's a really nice guy and he makes custom neon for a reasonable price.
