The Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce has a New Marketing Director with a big budget and plans for re-branding "The Grand Strand". If you're in the Myrtle Beach area, why not send her a congratulatory note and let her know how your services can contribute to achieving her vision?

Not close enough to Myrtle Beach, but thanks for always posting opportunities.

Thank you Jon. I had just read the local paper, there was an article about a new director at an area attraction. Didn't think twice til I saw your post and the light went off. Letter will be mailed monday.

Jon, lately you have been coming up with some great leads for the folks here- and this is another good one. I would add that if you are gonna pitch this account, you better go in with your guns loaded. I had a shop about sixty miles north of MB for ten years and often thought of moving there for the larger market. It aint a little redneck riviera down there any more- the place is starting to look like a little Las Vegas without the casinos- serious money there these days.

You're very welcome folks...and for the thanks.
Kissy...
I'm glad you took (or, will take) that step! Even if it doesn't lead to an immediate opportunity, you might be the only person who takes the time - and it will get noticed. Plan to make another contact (perhaps by phone) in a couple of weeks time...maybe to try to get a meeting. Good luck - and tell us how you make out!
