Ryan:

Your website looks great. Your work looks AMAZING.

Two comments re the website:

Have your phone number clearly visible on each page (better in the "header" if you can get a "frames" thing going...where the header remains constent).

Bikes page has a spelling error..."Queens" is spelled "Qeens".

You have a great site, but I have a suggestion from a web designer

Your graphic files are very large and will take a long while to download over a modem. Your entry graphic is 76Kb. Over half the internet still connects on modems, which under best case scenario are running 44K. That graphic will take several seconds to pull down and you may lose an impatient client - not that there are any of those out there [Smile]

If you have Adobe Photoshop 7 or CS, use their Save for the Web feature. This will output an image that is optimized and even gives feedback on how long the image will take to pull down on various modems.

Definately put the phone or conact info up on each page. Great work for a slapped together website!

Site looks really good Ryan! I like your paint work very much! I'm working away at getting my own stuff set up for the same purpose, so it's nice to see what other people are doing. Thanks for sharing [Smile]

Ryan,

You know I like your work.. As Mindy said, the load time is a little long. It took a bit even on cable for me to load the initial page. But I can understand that you had to hurry up and make it.

I like the shots of your pinstriping in the current issue of The Horse BC. Keep up the great work. Cool website also, How about some larger shot so we can see details [Wink]

Hi Ryan, looks good to me (cable). Mindy, it's great to see you jumping right in and giving advice. I think you'll be a nice addition to this community.

Thank you for the great input guys. I would also like to address the topic of a slow load time. Here is my spin on it and I am sure it will come off to alot of you as super arrogant. I am using this as a online portfolio and most have heard about me through customers or magazine articles. If they dont have time to let the site load then I dont want them as customers. This site is not to generate buisness but to inform potential customes and free up some phone time with a guy that thinks $150 bucks on a custom painted helmet is a little on the high side. Am I going to leave it this way NO! I hope to find someone that can work with me to put a professional site together soon. You guys with modem service how long is it taking for the pages to load? This site has been in the dumps lately and I have been avoiding it due to the rash of BS but thanks for your honest advise. This is why this place is so cool.Thank You

I'm on a dial-up and it wasn't going too slow, but I just skipped it and clicked on enter. The other pages loaded fast enough. It would be nice to see close-ups, I couldn't see the t-shirt designs. I saw the article in The Horse. what other mag are you in?

Oval Kart Magazine. Did 6 helmets for them and they did a small story about it.
