Ok folks, how are you planning to celebrate? I'm going to McCully Field for what must be my 40th year, to eat greasy KFC, gossip with old friends, yell at the kids for running with lit sparklers, and watch the fireworks. Let's hope it doesn't thunderstorm. Oh God I am turning into my mother! Have a good one. Love...Jill

My daughter and her hubby are having a bday party for two little sweetie granddaughters! My daughter's hubby's family coming in from Chicago. It is a bit cloudy here too, not too bad for the swimming pool though! Devyn was 4 last week, and Alayna the big 7 today! ( a independent firecracker!) Molly's in between, just turned 5 in March. They all get along so well! We'll be spinning the hoola hoops and swimming! Have fun, you all!

Not doing much of anything today, might grab the camera and tripod to shoot photos of the fireworks tonight. Since I already have hundreds of fireworks shots I might try something different, like intentionally swinging the camera around during the exposure.
I did get some PVC pipe yesterday for building a high powered water gun (more like a cannon) but I'm just not feeling up to putting it together today (it's hot outside!)

Jill, you can have some real fun with the virtual fireworks if you use both the left and right mouse buttons simultaneously - RAPIDFIRE!
**Edit** Hey those of you with laptops, if you have a "track pad" or the "nib" (or both, like mine) you can also use those buttons in conjunction with the mouse buttons - ie: I've got 6 buttons that I can use simultaneously to fire off pyros!
