I'm spending some time in Tuscon, AZ. visiting a friend of mine. Made a bike trip out of it, over 2200 miles from Ontario through some very beautiful and interesting country.

While I'm here I have been spending a great deal of my time putting together what I think is going to be a very professional and well polished hard copy display of some of my most favourite and best pieces of airbrush work over the years. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but we all know how that can go.

Here are just a couple of the pages. I will set up a link to view all of the pages once I have completed the project. The next step after this is going to be a web site.

The images are being set up in Photo Shop at a finished size of 12"x16.5" to fit in the sleeves of my larger portfolio. I'm going to then have them printed digitally on high quality photo paper. Most of the images have been taken from my motorcycle and vehicle work and blended together almost creating an entirely new piece of artwork. It's so cool what you can do with a computer these days!

If anyone from the Tuscon or Phoenix area catches this post, I would welcome the oportunity to meet you for a little shop talk.

Open invitation to ya anytime... and don't forget I've got a panel here for you!

PS... pretty darn cool stuff, but then again, EVERYTHING you seem to do turns out that way!!!

Bevin, thats some Dynamite work you have going there! I was in Tucson in '98 man it must be hot over there right now huh? Saw some pretty neat art work on lot of walls by the unversity and parts of old town art colony area. If you get a chance outside of Tucson is "Tombstone AZ" OK Corral, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, The old cemetary. Lot of history in that area. Have a great time!

Bevin; how long do you anticipate staying in the Tucson area? I'd like to include you in travels this fall, I'm back west in late Aug. If you're planning to be there till then at least, I'll make plans to come and visit. Tucson has special signifigance for me, Mom's alma mater, she studied there in '33 under Gray Bartlett. Some of their stuff is still on display in that school somewhere, which is cool, considering how famous Bartlett got. Let me know, email is; fmagoo@netzero.com

hey Bevin [Smile]

Come on down & visit with us at CHiricahua National Monument...we just recently changed jobs from signs to Park employees, but would love to talk shop anyways. Besides, this place is incredible, you should see it whilst you're in Az. Make a day or 2 out of it (we have a spare room you're welcome to use) and do the tombstone thing that Cisco mentioned and head on over to where we are. From Tucson you'd take the interstate to Willcox, then head south 37 miles to the Park. We both have Thursday/Fridays off and if we know you're coming,we can let them know at the entrance and it won't cost you to come in [Smile] Your work is outstanding!!! and we'd love to meet up with you.
our home # is 520-824-2000 and right around 4pm to 9pm is a good time to call.

Karen & Jeff

edited to add: we're at about 5400 ft here, so its a tad cooler also [Wink]

Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone. Yes, it is very hot here. Riding the bike during the peak hours of the day is like sitting in a blast furnace, so I tend to go out on it either earlier in the morning or in the evening when the sun is going down. The sunsets are beautiful here. I'm hoping to get down to Tomestone later in the week and when I start heading back east I would like to head up through the northern part of the state and see the Grand Canyon.

Hot or not, I think I would really enjoy having the oportunity to try living and working somewhere in this part of the country. "THATS A HINT" Winter back in Ontario is going to be hard to take after being here. Great place for someone who enjoys biking. I haven't even had to hardly clean off any bugs...how great is that!
