Yep - another holiday & we are both in the shop.
Really rotten spring weather has put us soooo far behind - but the sun is shining & four days of uninterupted work will allow us to catch up.
Lucky me - a four day weekend from one job allows me to work at the other. But luckily it gives us some great together time.
What's making you work today?
Debbie

Customer: Can you do this work on a holiday?

Me: Sure!!!!!! I charge double time and a half on holidays.

Customer: Ummmm.......

Me: By the way, how much does your boss give you on the holidays to NOT work?

Customer: I get a day's pay.

Me: Do you get overtime or extra pay if you have to work for the holiday?

Customer: Yes.

Me: I do, too. Now, what did you want again?

Happy holidays!

Work... what work. I do this for fun and people give me big bux!(LOL)

Actually I'm completely painting my first sign in years. Nine DiBond panels comprising this big 12' x 24' contour-cut logo. Feels good to be swinging a brush and I'm developing those motor skills so that I have the nerve to try some pinstriping at Paint the Prairie.

Had to cleanup papers before going for a 2 weeks holidays! [Wink]
Paper works are easier to deal with (at least for me) when the phone doesn't ring ! lolll

Now a trip to the bank and hop to prepare and pack! whoohiiiii!

Ciao!

Last minute screen job for a good client and friend. At least I got to sleep in! We gave the staff Thursday and Friday off. Tomorrow I'm going to try finish off my PTP panel and Laurie is going to coat panels for the event.
Tell Mur not to worry about finishing the panel for me, it's more important that he gets his polyesters out here...I haven't completed his either <blush>
Deb, are you guys going to the Maritime Meet?

Lettered a sailboat...because it was ready to be lettered. Taking a long weekend instead.

Oh yeah, Shirl worked today and has tomorrow off so I figured I'd do the same.

We worked till 2 on Friday, as usual. My people are not working Monday, but I am. I have a prototype I have to have ready by Tuesday for a large potential client.
