Hi there ...I've just downloaded a free windows driver for my cam 1 pnc 1000a so i can cut straight from corelDRAW. Does anyone no how i now make the conection with my cutter & computer i do have the printer cable conected to the parallel port.i just want to be able to plot something out on paper to see if my plotter is working,i have just bought it recently & i am hopeing it will work.. It covers all of the basics, but I haven't updated it to include using the drivers for Win 2000 or Win XP...but the basics are all the same.

Jeremy...I just thought of something. If you are using Win 2000 or Win XP be sure to ONLY use the driver that is located at www.rolandg.com. the driver file name is RWD-029. There are other drivers located on the American roland site at www.rolanddga but they are corrupt drivers and will crash your computer every other time you go to cut.

Hi Dave,..I have downloaded the driver for the pnc at the roland site ,i was just having problems as in linking the plotter & computer,the plotter does'nt seem to be getting the instructions from the computer,I'm sure its something I'm doing wrong !! i will keep trying ...thanks again Jeremy T...
