Did I spell (eradicator) right? Used this stuff to irradicata many awnings (remove the screen colour from...). Now that I am on my own, I have no idea where to find it. It is called Koolie Magic I believe. Thanks for your help.

Dickson eradication fluid is another brand of eradication fluid. Made by Glen Raven Mills, the maker of sunbrella awning material, Eradi-lite is GRMills name for Cooley brite. I recently used Dickson fluid on Cooley Brite vinyl. Worked fine. Both Dickson Eridication Fiuld and Eradi-lite and Sunbrella are available from Astrup 216-696-2820, I also believe 1-888-463-8323. I, however, am looking for a stencil material other than Fabtac for the use with eradication fluids. Avery says not to use their paint mask. Any suggestions, Fabtac is expensive (relitively) and not in 24" rolls.

corey.......i do all the graphics for a local awning company, and have done many cooley awnings over the years.......i use regular lacquer thinner and have had no problems whatsoever.........vance

Thanks for the replies. I use Avery's paint mask and have had no probs. From what I am being told, laquer thinner and acetone work well too. Thanks for the input.

I am doing lots of awnings and always used acetone with great results...regular calendered white vinyl for masking

Laquer thinner! Cheaper than cooley magic. Buy the lower grade stuff from almost any autoparts store.
All we have used for many many years. Works great. Not to mention we clean many other substrates with laquer(test first). Stay away from polycarbonate!
