John,

After you run spell checker, then you should run Microsoft Word grammar checker. Then no one will be able to understand your message! [Big Grin]

Spell Ckecker,
Smell Checler
No Seriously, I will sometimes type my post, then highlight everything, copy, go to create mail, paste, spell check everything, then copy and paste back into the post.

I know, a lot of trouble, but I don't want to look a dummy. I wish more would take the time to write a proper post or reply. If it is too sloppy, I won't even read it.

I HATE ALL CAPS!!!!!! AM I YELLING???? AM I STUPID????

'nother pet peeve is spellin' like yer talkin' in slang. Write properly or get no respect, from me at least.

Cheers

Well Sheila, I may make an exception for you 'cause you're from 'bama an all.

Hell, I have to admit that I didn't graduate High School, but I have tried hard ever since.

Misspelled words on signs cost money. When I was hand lettering them, the boss would make us go out and fix it on our own time.
Once, I misspelled a word on a fabric awning, once on a vinyl banner (lettered with vinyl ink) & once on a sprayed illuminated sign. Ouch, the humiliation from of your boss and peers!

I find the dictionary is better than spell check, because you learn the spelling.

English & spelling are very important in our biz. So is talking to customers in a professional manner & writing a concise proposal.

Cheers & Happy Spelling!
