I need to quote 500 & 1000 signs to match this one. The aluminum stake seems to be a basic edge-trim style of U-channel, but they have glued on a washer that may be there to help take the blow of a hammer w/o uglifying the post. They (my clients previous supplier)also supplied a black rubber cover for the top & a red one that covers the angle cut on the bottom of the stake to help it cut it's way into the ground.

The sign itself seems to be on something like 1/16th inch Styrene w/ graphics screenprinted onto white reflective & cut to match the same shield shape the styrene is cut to. It is mounted to the stake with double face tape. I could track down the seperate componants as well as a vendor for cutting styrene "shields" & I cut screenprint on cut reflective in-house... BUT, this seems like such a nice solution, I suspect it is a standard item from some place like Grimco. (but not them, 'cause I checked [Frown] )

Any clues anyone???

Doug- How I envy you on an island!!

Try www.stouse.com. I just got home so I don't have the catalog in front of me to look it up. Get a catalog ASAP- prices quoted are retail- it's coded for wholesale. They've always done a great job for me. Just get registered (call them and request "customer credit app"- even if you pay up front you need to fill one out- they'll fax it to you) and send them a quote request. This will be a custom die-cut job. You'll save yourself a lot of time and headaches. If the phone number is not on the web site email me.

This job just got a whole lot less "custom"
I will email this post to Stouse, because I want to let them know I have seen over a dozen recommendations to "check Stouse" on this board so far... & that's why I had this catalog already, & this discovery (thanks to Linda) is why I will remember to check their catalog first next time.
