I have to see a guy who supplies the blackjack and poker tables to refresh the letteing on the felt. What kind of paint do I use? Can I use my Ronan or 1 shot? I remember using the oil paints on felt/velvet that came in the kits when I was a kid to paint the velvet Elvis (I know, I know...) and deer portraits but I kinda remember the paint hardening. I'm guessing that you would be better off using an waterbased paint or screenprinting ink so it absorbs into the felt and has a softer hand to it. Don't take my word for this - try contacting these people - http://www.thefeltpeople.com/ They should know the answer for you. Good luck

Perhaps you need to get some felt and experiment to see what works best.
I'd bet that spraying flat, water based paint using "stencils" or masked areas will look the goodest.

Two methods they use in Vegas...Silkscreen with fast dry "flat" inks...(the old way)...Check Nazdar I'm sure they can reccomend the right ink (it's the same as they use for printing Sports pennants on felt).
The newer way...and they are georgous is by sublimation print (heat exchange).They start out with white felt then sublimate all images at once(including the green field).
