Has anyone used any of the grafitti protection products that are out there?
Any suggestions for protecting an MDO sign with vinyl letters.

Richard,
You might consider using Tedlar. While nothing is grafitti-proof, Tedlar will provide the best protection against markers, spray paint and the like.
It is available from SignGold. Check out www.SignGold.com, contact me at 585-415-7496, or have your nearest SignGold distributor order it for you.

There's a product that I buy from Product Sign Supply in Sacramento that is a two part mix. I spay it on and it sets rather fast. Don't remember the name of it. I've purchased the Tedlar on a48" roll and found it darned near impossible to lay without trapping air around the edges of vinyl letters. The spray on works well.
One of the city parks that I used this stuff of gets signs tagged regularly and a maintenance guy easily removs it.
As Rich Stebbing says "Works for me."

Richard,
One Shot has recently devloped a brushable 2 part grafitti proof clear that might do the trick. I'd try giving them a call.
Hope this helps... Rapid

Can Frog Juice help on the graffiti protection?

Richard, I have never found anything better to use on my signs to protect them from vandals than "insurance". If they want to do damage to your sign, they will get it done. If they spray it, and you clean it, they will come back and scratch it! I have a sheet I give every customer, reminding them to make sure they have insurance on the new sign! Vandalism...... repaired by insurance!!!

Frank Manning gave a demo on the 1-shot stuff. It was pretty impressive. Made a believer out of me.

. . .I had a sign go up on the "East-side" of town for a new pond and historical project to help the area. But that is the hoodlum's area as well. The City was very concerned about vandalism so I used clear lexan faces over the alum. signs. So far nothing has happened at all.
Thanx for the info on the oneshot and other stuff!!
