Letterheads Parade In Mazeppa, MN |
Friday was parade day in Mazeppa. The whole town turned out to see what would be the biggest parade in Mazeppa history. By 6:00pm, both sides of the street were crowded. You could feel the excitement build as parade time approached! HeadTV had high tech live-eye setup on the main street in front of Mike's shop. Our cam was securely mounted with duct tape high above the crowd on an 8' bamboo pole. With a twist of the wrist, the operator was able to pan the crowd as well as the parade route. Mayo Pardo, our own Empy from Chat, did an excellent job of typing the commentary while his assistant, Bernice Tornquist, ran the cam and kept him informed on what was coming next. What a team!
